Contrary to the vicinal fortified lines (Pommernstellung, Nischlitz-Obra line), the passive shelters were used in large numbers here. They were built in the flood-protection bank, in the space in front of it and behind it. Their construction didnīt differ very much out of some exceptions and most often there are three types of works. But also here some exceptions appeared. First it was the additional situation of the observational cupola 9P7, eventually of the armour-plate for the periscope.

The most usual personnel shelter

Most frequently built type of the passive shelter has got two armoured door leading into a shared room. In its side-wall there is an escape way, in the walls opposite to the entrances there are placed two guarding gunports. At the same time this space served as a stowage compartment for the equipment of the launching forces. Through the only armoured door you can go to one big room, which served as a dormitory. The second variant of the shelter is similar to the above-mentioned one, but it is intended for two units of infantry. In this case there lead two armoured door into two similar dormitories.

The second type of the shelter is constructionally far more simple. It has got one entrance that lacks a guarding gunport. A cranked little corridor leads into a large room, which served as a dormitory.
