The works in the area of Kwiatkowice can be included in the defence of the road bridge by the town Lubiaž, which was from the strategic point of view very important. It was the only bridge in the territory Wroclaw- Šcinawa (cca 80km). On top of that in the case of an attack of hostile forces this was the way to the big cities Legnica and Lubin. There are preserved two works designed for the fire of one heavy machine-gun to this day. You can get to these bunkers by a little road, which branches away from the road Nr 338 close in front of the above-mentioned bridge in Lubiaž to left (there´s no sign). At the first junction right under the bridge it´s necessary to turn left and after a few kilometres to right. Futher it´s possible to continue only on foot down the river. Both the works are situated near the runway itself.

It´s possible to encounter several damaged bunkers on the way. To imagine their original shapes is a little bit complicated. The first preserved pillbox is a little bunker without any gunport for the defence of the entrance. The armoured door feeds into a little hall, where there are another door to the shooting room. The heavy machine-gun was placed in an armour-plate 7P7 and was designed for the enfilade.

A few kilometres along down the river, after negotiating of a deep ditch, there is the second preserved bunker aldo intended for the enfilade. In this case it´s again a very rarely built work, probably in the endurance C ( walls 50- 60 cm). The armoured door feeds right into the shooting room, its roof is veneered with the corrugated iron. On the back-wall of the room there are holes for the aerage. The heavy machine-gun was situated in an armour-plate that was on the outer side cover with the pargeting. The pillbox disposes moreover of a wing wall,which protected the gunport and the observational loop-hole.
